The Denver Foundation has announced the Community Grant Program to support resident groups and nonprofit organizations in the seven-county Metro Denver area.
All of the work reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to reducing disparities and promoting equity for the most vulnerable members of the community, including people living in poverty, immigrants and refugees, and people of color.
In the four objective areas:
- The Foundation seeks to reduce racial and ethnic disparities, as well as economic disparities.
- The Foundation supports organizations that share the core values of racial equity and community leadership.
- Soundness of fiscal, strategic, governance, and program-delivery practices.
- ast success, demonstrated impact, or strong potential for impact.
- Use of evaluation to assess progress toward goals.
- Openness to collaboration and being part of a broader approach to improving the lives of community members.
- Uniqueness of programs or services.
