Deadline: 15-Mar-21
The Administrator of the Administration for Community Living invites applications for new awards for fiscal year (FY) 2016 for the Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects (DRRP) Program: Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) National Network.
The purpose of NIDILRR’s DRRPs, which are funded through the Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects and Centers Program, is to improve the effectiveness of services authorized under the Rehabilitation Act by developing methods, procedures, and rehabilitation technologies that advance a wide range of independent living and employment outcomes for people with disabilities, especially people with the most significant disabilities. Under this priority, 10 DRRPs, one within each of the 10 HHS regions, will be funded as part of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) National Network.
Priorities

Together, the 10 ADA Regional Centers, along with the ADA Knowledge Translation Center (ADA KT Center, funded under a separate funding opportunity announcement), and the ADA Collaborative Research Projects (funded from 2017-2022), will comprise the ADA National Network. Each ADA Regional Center must be designed to contribute to the following outcomes:
- Improved understanding by ADA stakeholders of their rights and responsibilities under the ADA.
