SheaMoisture is excited to launch a call for applications for Dream Fund Grants to empower Black communities across Canada.
The Dream Fund Grant in partnership with The Diversity Agency is providing Black female-owned businesses with financial resources, networks, and entrepreneurial education needed to thrive. All 2023 Dream Fund Grant recipients will gain access to personalized Business Coach support via The Diversity Agency.
In 2021, SheaMoisture launched the Salon Relief Fund to help female business owners survive the challenging tides brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic through a $10,000 grant, generous salon gift baskets and educational workshops. Dream Fund, is a continuation of the grant program to offer financial support to the community.
Funding Information
- For your chance to receive one of five $10,000 grants, create a short video sharing what makes your business unique and answer questions to reflect how you are situated to support growth in Black Communities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be 18+
- Be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada
- Be a founder, or owner where the business is at least 50% owned by Black and female identifying business owners
- Have a legally registered business in Canada employing no more than 10 individuals
- Open to participating in SheaMoisture celebrations & engagements
- Must upload a video, complete written questions & intake form
