The Country Arts SA is currently seeking applications for its Elevate Grants: Explore for regional artists to develop or explore new skills/ideas in residence in regional South Australia for up to 4 weeks.
This could include First Nations artists spending time on country, business development for artists, attendance at professional development opportunities, artists in residence at a regional arts centre/gallery/other place for residency.

- Grants of up to $10,000.
What the grant money cannot be used for?

The Elevate Grant Program will not fund the following activities:
- a project principally benefitting a major city or metropolitan location
- funded activity that will commence before funding is approved
- touring projects from major cities, such as tours of performances and exhibitions
- curriculum-based activities, including for primary, secondary or tertiary courses
- competitions, prizes or awards
- ongoing core administration costs of the applicant organisation
- infrastructure costs including building or fitting out permanent structures
Eligibility Criteria

To apply for an Elevate Grant you or your organisation/ group must be:
- a permanent resident of regional or remote South Australia, residing in locations classified as MM2- MM7 according to the Australian Government’s Modified Monash Model.
- an individual artist over the age of 16 with a sole trader ABN registered to a regional South Australia address
- a not-for-profit arts organisation with an ABN registered to a regional South Australia address
- an unincorporated arts organisation/group from regional South Australia auspiced by an organisation with an ABN registered to a regional South Australia address

You are not eligible to apply for an Elevate grant if you are:
- an individual under 16 years of age
- an unincorporated organisation or group with no eligible auspice organisation
- a for profit company
- a partnership or trust
- an organisation or individual based outside of regional or remote South Australia
- an Australian Government or state government entity
- an individual or organisation with an overdue Country Arts SA or Regional Arts Fund grant acquittal.
