EMK Center is seeking applications for EMK Small Grant 2019 to provide deserving candidates with an opportunity to realize their dreams of making a positive contribution to society.
The EMK Center requests proposals from eligible applicants for works to be implemented and completed between January 1, 2019, and June 30, 2019.
The EMK Center honors the legacy of public servants worldwide, exemplified by the men and women who fought for Bangladesh’s independence in 1971 and by U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy, who was moved to take action then and throughout his life in support of his convictions.
Funding Information
The Edward M. Kennedy Center for Public Service and the Arts (EMK Center) will award the Edward M. Kennedy Small Grants for Public Service and the Arts – of between two hundred thousand (2 lakh) and ten hundred thousand (10 lakh) Bangladeshi Taka.
Eligibility Criteria
Individuals or Groups who are active in volunteerism, women’s empowerment, education, community development, youth engagement , entrepreneurship-related projects and the various forms of digital, audiovisual, graphics or performance arts in Bangladesh.

Proposals should be submitted in the form of one email at the address as email subject “EMK Small Grants 2019 – [name of individual/organization]” in the subject line. Please ensure that all the required information and necessary links are attached to/enclosed in that one email.
Important Instructions:
- Only online application will be acceptable. Hard copy submissions will not be acceptable
- Applications sent after the mentioned time will be automatically deleted
- Project Completion between January 1, 2019, and June 30, 2019.
- Email subject must be “EMK Small Grants 2019 – [Title of the Project and Organization]”
