The European Commission (EC) is pleased to announce the Employability: Peace, Wellbeing and Sustainability Grant Program.
Program Objectives and Priorities
- The overall objective of this program is to contribute to peacebuilding efforts in Colombia by improving the living conditions of people, especially those most affected by the conflict, victims, people in the process of reintegration, young people at risk of recruitment and women in all their diversity, through the promotion and strengthening of employability and labour inclusion programmes.
- Lot 1: Labor Inclusion for Peace Building
- The specific objective of this lot 1 is:
- Promote and strengthen labor transition and employability programs, especially related to green jobs in association with the productive sector that generate greater opportunities for people, with special emphasis on the young population, in the process of reintegration and risk of recruitment, women in all its diversity, victims and people with disabilities.
- The priorities of this lot are:
- Establish and/or strengthen training programs for work and/or dual training, connected to labor demand and in the sectors with the greatest employability potential. These Programs must contain training in life plans and vocational guidance according to the needs and skills of the prioritized population. The number of people trained at the end of the action must be at least 1,100, where a minimum of 25% must be women and 10% people with disabilities.
- Generate jobs connected to labor demand and in collaboration with the productive sector. Proposals must have clear results and indicators on the number of jobs generated.
- Design and/or strengthen awareness-raising strategies and preparation of the work and community environment for the productive incorporation of people, with special emphasis on young people, those in the process of reintegration and at risk of recruitment, women in all their diversity, victims and people with disabilities.
- The specific objective of this lot 1 is:
- Lot 2: Inclusive Digital Employment
- The specific objective of this lot 2 is:
- Establish, implement and/or strengthen labor transition and employability programs for people, with special emphasis on the young population, in the process of reincorporation and at risk of recruitment, women in all its diversity, victims and people with disabilities, in coordination with companies linked to the information and communications technology sector.
- The priorities of this lot are:
- Establish and/or strengthen, in collaboration with companies and organizations in the information and communications technology sector, dual training and/or training for work programs, aimed at people, with special emphasis on the young population, in the process of reintegration and at risk of recruitment, women in all their diversity, victims and people with disabilities.
- Generate jobs connected to the demand and needs of the information and communications technology sector. Proposals must have clear results and indicators on the number of jobs generated.
- Design and/or strengthen awareness-raising strategies and preparation of the work and community environment for the productive incorporation of people, with special emphasis on the young population, in reintegration process and risk of recruitment, women in all their diversity, victims and people with disabilities in the process of reintegration and young people at risk of recruitment.
- Implement actions to strengthen infrastructure and equipment as enablers for job creation in the information and communications technology sector.

Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
- be a legal entity; and
- not be for profit; and
- be Business Foundations or business and/or sectoral associations or Chambers of Commerce National and/or binational trade; and
- be established in Colombia or in a member state of the European Union
- be directly responsible, with their co-applicants and affiliated entities, for the preparation and management of the action and not merely act as intermediaries; and
- be legally constituted for at least four (4) years prior to the submission of the proposal and have all official documentation of its registration with the competent national authorities or agencies;
- have at least three (3) years of experience in project management, of which two (2) years of experience in Colombia.
