The Code4Europe consortium and Hub Code Week France are launching a call for projects to support activities in the fields of digital education, coding, and computational thinking.
Objectives
- This call for projects aims to support local initiatives in France that promote the discovery of programming and digital technologies. It is part of the European Commission’s “Strengthening the digital skills of young people, especially girls” initiative.
- Project proposals must address one or more of the following objectives:
- Introduce children to programming and the digital sector through accessible and fun activities.
- Integrate technologies and programming into education to make learning more interactive and stimulating.
- Encourage collaboration between different digital educational players.
- Promote diversity and gender equality in digital professions.
- Please note: Where possible, priority will be given to initiatives involving high schools and integrating Code Week reference teachers into their implementation.
Funding Information
- A €5,000 grant will be awarded to the successful project leader based on the quality and impact of the proposal.
Duration
- The supported project can be implemented from September 1, 2025 until October 31, 2025 at the latest.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible candidates are:
- Educational establishments
- Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and specialized associations in the promotion of digital culture
- Coding clubs
- Each candidate must present:
- A description of the project, its objectives and expected impact.
- Details on the implementation plan, timeline and resources required.
- Information about the applicant organization, including experience relevant.
- Each applicant must also upload a proposed budget for the project with their submission.
