European Commission Call for Proposals: Supporting Development and Implementation of FOOD 2030

Deadline: 14 February 2017

The European Commission is seeking proposals for its “Support to the development and implementation of FOOD 2030 – a European research and innovation policy framework for food and nutrition security” with an aim to underpin the transformation of food systems in Europe so as to make them ‘future-proof’: sustainable, resilient, performant, inclusive, diverse, and competitive.

Food and Nutrition Security is a growing challenge characterized by urgency and complexity due to the compounded effects of population growth, urbanization, migration, resource scarcity and climate change affecting the food systems in Europe and beyond.
