The European Commission is calling for proposals to Enhance the Protection of Places of Worship of all Faiths.
Objectives
- objective 1: to improve the protection of public spaces, particularly on enhanced public-private cooperation, the development and implementation of good practices at local level and also of those practices listed in the Commission Staff Working Document “Good practices to support the protection of public spaces”;
- Objective 2: to enhance the protection against and detection of CBRN and explosives threats for different types of public spaces and critical infrastructures;
- Objective 3: to enhance the protection of Member States’ against the threats posed by non-cooperatives UAS; Objective 4: to enhance the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2019/1148 on the marketing and use of explosives precursors.

Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible, the applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must:
- be legal entities (public or private bodies)
- be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.:
- EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs), excluding Denmark.
