The Michelson Philanthropies is pleased to announce the FirstGen Spark Grant Program for organizations that support or uplift immigrant women.
Focus Areas
- Career training or job placement services that focus on immigrant women
- Storytelling that combats stereotypes or that shares the unique perspectives of immigrant women
- Program funding that supports immigrant women’s transition to the United States
- Solutions to challenges faced by immigrant women
- Organizations providing support to immigrants and refugees from Afghanistan and Ukraine will also be considered.
Funding Information
The FirstGen Spark Grant is awarding up to $25,000 to organizations.
Criteria
- After LOI is submitted the Grant Committee will do an initial assessment.
- Within 6 business days you will be notified if your proposal is moving forward in the process.
- Proposals that advance will be asked to complete a full application
- Full applications will be assessed and applications designated finalists will be reviewed by the Spark Community Advisors.
- They may schedule follow-up calls with those that advance to the finalist stage if the Grant Committee requires additional information.
