The Coca-Cola Australia Foundation (CCAF) is inviting charitable organisations to apply for a new Flagship Partner grant focused on economically empowering young people in Australia aged between 15-24.
In line with the CCAF mission, the aim of the grant is to enable young people to thrive by equipping them with the skills and opportunities to participate in the workplace. Digital technologies have transformed the workplace and environmental, social and economic imperatives have created new opportunities, including through the green economy. Young people need training, digital skills and financial and other support to become economically empowered.
Focus Areas
Your proposed program needs to:
- Economically empower young people aged 15-24 and address one or more targets from UN Sustainability Development Goals 4 ‘Quality Education’, 8 ‘Decent Work and Economic Growth’ and/or 10 ‘Reduced Inequalities’ (the Targets)
Funding Information
- You or will be required to sign the Flagship Partner Agreement.
- The maximum period of the grant is 3 years and is for a maximum amount of $600,000 (up to $200,000 per annum); and
- You wi ll not be able to re-apply to CCAF until a further three years after the acquittal of the grant.
Eligibility Criteria
- The proposed program needs to:
- Be delivered within Australia; and
- You are strongly encouraged to consider the Coca-Cola Australia Foundation (CCAF) as the principal partner
- The project will:
- Be a BIG idea with COURAGE to demonstrate how the project could be scalable for the future.
- Have a national/regional footprint and be applying for an exclusively Australian-based project
- Have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR 1) status.
- Have clear and deliverable goals consistent with the areas to be addressed
- Have the ability to measure both outputs (the numbers) and outcomes (the stories of how they’re making a difference, and the long-term positive impact on economically empowering young people 15-24).
- Have a vision for long-term sustainability after the CCAF funding ends. Funding is only available for the successful applicant for up to 3 years – and Annual Acquittal R eports are required to release subsequent annual grant payments.
Ineligible
- Your proposed program cannot seek funds for:
- Activities that collect funds for subsequent redistribution to other charities or
- individuals;
- Purchase of land or buildings;
- Overseas appeals or projects undertaken outside of Australia;
- Expeditions or overseas travels.
