The U.S. Department of State’s U.S. Consulate General in Lahore announces an open competition for one assistance award through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), contingent on funding availability, through the Public Diplomacy Grants Program.
This project seeks to implement a 15-day exchange program to the United States for at least 10 participants representing digital content creators, targeting youth audiences from Punjab Province, Pakistan. The program will include recruitment and selection of participants, planning and execution of the exchange program in the United States, and implementation of a followon program in Pakistan where participants can share their experiences and knowledge with other digital creators and youth. The follow-on project may be conducted together with a local implementing partner in Pakistan.

- Exchange Program: Increase understanding of digital creators about U.S. culture and values that will help shape their content. The program will also build connections with U.S. content creators and provide skills on how to use digital content to advocate for positive change more effectively.
- Digital Content Creator Bootcamp: Exchange program participants share their experience and knowledge with other creators, students, and youth interested in digital content creation. This will expand the reach and impact of the program, while also creating a local community of content creators in Punjab, Pakistan.
- Follow-on sub-award opportunities: Provide follow-on grants to participants to work with other local content creators from the bootcamp to create digital content and messaging campaigns in collaboration with U.S. Consulate General Lahore on key messaging targeting Pakistani youth.

Project Audience(s)
- The participants of this exchange program will be comprised of 10 digital creators selected by the U.S. Consulate General Lahore who are based in Punjab and are actively engaged in creating content for their target audience of Pakistani youth.
Eligibility Criteria
- The following organizations are eligible to apply:
- U.S.-Based Not-for-profit organizations
- U.S.-Based Civil society/non-governmental organizations
- U.S.-Based Think tanks
- U.S.-Based Public and private educational institutions
- For-profit entities, even those that may fall into the categories listed above, are not eligible to apply for this NOFO. Organizations may sub-contract with other entities, but only one, non-profit, non-governmental entity can be the prime recipient of the award. When sub-contracting with other entities, the responsibilities of each entity must be clearly defined in the proposal.
