Farm Production and Conservation Business Center (FPAC) has announced the availability of cooperative agreement funding to collect and analyze soil health data from at least 200 sites on Conservation Reserve Program (CRP)-enrolled land reflecting a diversity of conditions for at least 3 years and to quantify the relationship between soil health and cover and practice management characteristics.
The objective of this study is to collect and analyze soil health data from a diverse sample of fields enrolled in CRP and use the results to estimate the relationship between soil health and grassland cover characteristics, such as species diversity.

The funding floor for this opportunity is $300,000 and the funding ceiling is $500,000
Duration
Projects may be between 3 and 5 years in duration. Applicants should plan their projects based on a project start date of September 15, 2020.

Eligibility for this opportunity is limited to the following entity types:
- Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS (other than institutions of higher education)
- Nonprofits that do not have a 501 (c)(3) status with the IRS (other than institutions of higher education)
