The Cape Cod Foundation is seeking applications for its Fund for Sandwich Grants Program to provide grants for initiatives that tackle the wide range of challenges and opportunities facing their community to improve the quality of life for those who live and work in Sandwich, MA.
The Fund for Sandwich will consider a wide range of proposals. The Fund is especially interested in proposals that respond to community needs, especially for at-risk populations, as well as those that creatively solve local problems across a wide range of fields, including the following: human services, youth services, aging services, health, education, the arts, local development, and the environment.
Funding Information
- Grants from The Fund for Sandwich are generally $500 to $1,000. The Fund for Sandwich typically awards $5,000 to $7,500 in its annual round of competitive grantmaking.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant organizations must be 501(c)(3) public charities or organizations serving a charitable purpose that are applying with a fiscal sponsor that is a 501(c)(3) public charity.
- Organizations can be located outside of the Town of Sandwich, but projects and programs must specifically support Sandwich residents.
Limitations
The Fund for Sandwich will generally not consider proposals for the following:
- Debt reduction
- Projects that will be completed prior to the grant award
- Capital campaigns or improvements
- Endowment building
- Monuments and memorials
