The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria through the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Kiev announces a procedure for acceptance and selection of project proposals to be implemented with grants within the official development assistance of the Republic of Bulgaria with initial implementation in 2022 years.
Purpose
- Construction and equipment of specialized classrooms – language, laboratories, gyms, etc .;
- Modernization of the infrastructure of educational institutions;
- Modernization and replenishment of the library fund of educational institutions;
- Organizing courses for raising the qualification of the pedagogical staff;
- Implementation of modern technologies to improve the quality of the educational process;
- Organizing and conducting festivals (cinema, theater, opera, dance, folklore, music, etc.), exhibitions, concerts, etc .;
- Maintenance, repair and reconstruction of cultural infrastructure (theaters, cinemas, centers, galleries, monuments, memorials);
- Financing and promotion of films related to the cultural diversity of Ukraine;
- Construction and equipment of health centers, laboratories, clinics, etc. n .;
- Purchase of medicines and consumables for sites in the health sector;
- Establishment of specialized bodies of the state and local administration for rendering consulting assistance to the representatives of the business with the direction of cooperation with the EU;
- Organizing training courses for state and local administration employees involved in supporting the private sector in its cooperation with the EU;
- Supporting the presence of local companies and producers in their positioning on the EU market;
- Improving the quality and capacity of local business activities aimed at cooperation with the EU;
- Financing of journalistic platforms and projects aimed at objective coverage;
- Financing of ethnic and minority publications;
Priority Areas
The priority areas and directions for implementation of projects on the territory of Ukraine are:
- Providing inclusive and quality education and improving school infrastructure
- Preservation of cultural diversity and the common cultural and historical heritage and promotion of intercultural understanding Support for freedom of speech and media by promoting quality, independent and citizen journalism
- Support for providing universal health coverage and access to quality health services
- Support for the development of the administrative capacity of small and medium business, improving access to the European market by applying EU standards
Funding Information
- The minimum allowable value of a project is BGN 5,000 .
- The recommended maximum value of a project is :
- for projects whose main purpose is the supply of goods and / or provision of services – up to BGN 70,000 ;
- for projects whose main purpose is to carry out repair and / or construction activities – from BGN 70,000 to 270,000 .
- The co-financing of project activities provided by the applicant will be considered as an advantage in the evaluation, selection and approval of projects.

- affirmation of the good name and international authority of Bulgaria;
- improving the quality of education and the introduction of new training technologies;
- modernization of the existing spaces for culture;
- the creation of independent media projects;
- organizing and conducting various cultural events and their approval in the cultural calendar of the country;
- improving socio-economic development and good governance leading to sustainable and inclusive economic development. Encouraging economic cooperation with Bulgaria and the EU as a whole;
- reducing poverty and increasing prosperity;
- deepening the interaction between the institutions at central, regional and local level.
