Deadline: 07-Mar-2025
The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation is now requesting proposals for its Deihl Community Grants to support projects likely to have a major impact on community efforts in basic human needs and youth, located in or impacting a large segment of the population.
Generally grants are awarded to proposals clearly focused on the support of the constituents of Manhattan and Riley County, Kansas.
Funding Information
- Typically, proposals should require awards exceeding $10,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations with a potential project should complete the online application that includes a letter of intent/interest to the GMCF for initial screening by the Deihl grants committee. The committee prefers that personnel costs to be covered by the non-profit. A subsequent interview of proposers may be requested.
- Schools and government agencies will not be considered.
- Organizations may apply in multiple quarters but will only be awarded one Deihl grant per calendar year.
- Proposals generally should NOT be made for projects requiring ongoing support from GMCF, although multi-year funding to reach an approved project total will be considered.
- Proposals for larger or more complex projects should include an especially detailed budget specifying the cost of each element of the project.
