The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Cambodia would like to invite local Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) and community-based organizations (CBOs) working on sustainable natural resources and environmental management and poverty reduction in nine Protected Areas (PAs) and a Biodiversity Conservation Corridor only part that located inside Preah Vihear provincial administrative boundary to submit their project proposal for the grants.
Since August 2005, UNDP Cambodia has been Implementing the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Small Giants Program initiative to promote community-based environment/livelihood projects, executed by UNOPS.
The Small Grants Program (SGP) works directly by providing grants and technical support to local NGOs and community-based organizations (CBOs).
Funding Information
Grants of up to US$ 20,000 per project are available and distributed on a competitive basis.
Criteria
- SGP will fund up to 50% of the total project cost Mille the other 50% Is to be funded by the selected organization or community through local authority Contribution and/or other donor support.
- Only short-listed project concept notes will $comased for further Information.
