Deadline: 30-Jun-21
The Powered by Zerret is inviting applications for its Grant Program for Fueling, Lifting & Transforming Underserved Communities through Entrepreneurship.
They believe in a society where Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) women and other underserved entrepreneurs fuel the growth of their communities through the financial success of their business enterprises.
PBZ’s program structure is simple. Although their focus is on BIPOC women, at their discretion they will also choose to work with other aspiring and existing entrepreneurs that are considered underserved/disadvantaged.
PBZ is looking for entrepreneurs in underserved communities who have informal businesses, ‘side’ hustles, who are ready to take their business to the next level and need seed money to grow and fully establish themselves as a sustainable business.
This seed money could be a deposit for a storefront or equipment; hiring a web designer, a lawyer, or technical assistance to perfect an app, etc.
These entrepreneurs are BIPOC (Black Indigenous People of Color) with a focus on women of color. These entrepreneurs currently reside in underserved areas such as lower wealth urban and rural areas.
Their lives could be affected by incarceration, violence, or other types of strife. The final decisions will be at the discretion of PBZ’s board and/or Chair-Founder.
