Streams
The Stabilize Program Phase 2 has 3 streams, each with their own funding process:
- Stabilize Donation Matching 2.0
- Adapt and Innovate Stream
- Stabilize Live Music Grant
Funding Information
- Stabilize Donation Matching 2.0: between a minimum of $25,000 to a maximum of $100,000
- Adapt and Innovate Stream:
- The maximum funding request is $75,000.
- Funding is approved on a matching basis. The applicant must contribute 50% of a match to the amount being requested for project expenses.
- Stabilize Live Music Grant
- Funding is available for:
- musicians and other live music professionals
- grants of up to $1,500 will help them prepare for a return to live performances
- for-profit music venues
- grants of up to $25,000 will support their innovative projects to help Alberta’s music industry adapt and relaunch
- musicians and other live music professionals
- Funding is available for:
Eligibility Criteria
- Stabilize Donation Matching 2.0
- Support and leverage Albertans’ investment to support Alberta-based non-profit organizations that:
- organize and host live experience events
- own or operate of live experience venues
- are located in Alberta
- must be registered (and in good standing) under one of the eligible acts
- Support and leverage Albertans’ investment to support Alberta-based non-profit organizations that:
- Adapt and Innovate Stream
- The Adapt and Innovate Stream support projects that enable non-profit organizations to reimagine their organization’s business model in order to resume in-person, live experience opportunities. Projects will support adaptability, organizational development, and the implementation of new business or event models. They can also focus on strengthening digital infrastructure, accessing the appropriate software, or making content accessible to diverse and underrepresented audiences.
- Eligible non-profit organizations include those that:
- are the primary organizer of arts, culture and festival events, including those in the performing, visual, literary, and film and video arts, which are open and available to the public
- are the primary organizer of rodeo and sport events whose performances and programming are open and available to the public
- own or operate a live experience venue, such as sport and arts venues, community halls, agricultural society’s venues, dedicated cultural centres, and so on.
