The Integration Foundation is inviting applications to ensure that young Ukrainian war refugees up to the age of 19 in Estonia have opportunities to keep in touch with the Ukrainian language and culture through community activities.
Funding Information
- The budget for the application round is 100,000 euros.
- The maximum amount of support requested is 15,000 euros per application.
Results
- The expected results are as follows:
- traditions related to the Ukrainian language and cultural heritage are viable among the target group;
- the target group has maintained a connection with the Ukrainian language and culture space;
- community cultural events have been implemented;
- children’s and youth literature in Ukrainian has been published;
- Ukrainian language and culture training for the target group has been organized.
- The measurable results are the following:
- the number of community cultural events;
- the number of published works in Ukrainian;
- the number of participants in the study of Ukrainian language and culture.
Supported Activities
- Support is given to the project, the implementation of which contributes to the achievement of the goal and results within the framework of which:
- teaching of the Ukrainian language and culture is organized;
- Ukrainian-language cultural events are organized in cooperation with Ukrainian cultural societies, Estonian NGOs, cultural or memory institutions or libraries;
- children’s and youth literature in Ukrainian is published.
- Support shall not be granted to a project whose activities have been completed or fully implemented before the application is submitted.
Criteria
- The applicant may be a legal entity registered in Estonia or a self-employed person registered in the business register.
- The applicant must meet the following requirements:
- at the time of submitting the application, he has no tax or payment debt to the state or it has been repaid and paid according to the schedule;
- he is not in bankruptcy, liquidation or forced termination at the time of submitting the application, and he does not have a valid warning of deletion from the business register;
- he does not have a debt to submit an annual report or tax declarations at the time of submitting the application;
- at the time of submission of the application, he does not have a debt to submit a report or other unfulfilled obligations towards the grantor;
- to ensure communication with the target group, he has at least one member of the project team who speaks Estonian at least at the B1 level and Ukrainian as a mother tongue or at an equivalent level;
- it has at least one lecturer/trainer who has a higher education, speaks Ukrainian as a mother tongue or at a level equivalent to it, and has previous practical experience in teaching young people up to 19 years of age.
