Deadline: 21-Apr-22
Applications are now open for the HT Hyashi Foundation Grant Program to support their Hawaii community by investing in arts and culture, human development, environmental conservation, and economic security, with a particular focus on programs that serve women, children, and kupuna.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a qualified Hawaii-based tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization or a 501(c)(3) organization on the Continent with a physical presence and operations in Hawaii. Fiscal sponsorships will be considered.
- Generally, only one request per organization will be considered in each calendar year.
- The Foundation does not fund loans, endowments, lobbying, festivals, and similar one-time events; it does not purchase advertising, attendance at, or sponsorship of commercial events; it does not provide scholarships.
Selection Process
Please note that your submission does not guarantee selection. In an effort to level the playing field — in particular for organizations with great programs that lack grant writing capacity — they carefully review each submission against the foundation’s selection criteria and work closely with applicants to provide open and honest feedback. They believe this will ensure your best work is presented to the board.
