The India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) is seeking proposals from school teachers to be the facilitators of these projects for the implementation of Kalasanjoji projects in Government schools in Karnataka.
Teaching is an attempt to make learning a learning activity in schools, as well as the adoption of an art medium by teachers. The desire to bring a student-centered learning system through creative efforts and syllabus combined efforts to build a special relationship with outsiders crossing the schoolroom through story, song, drama, painting and any local art forms.
The IFAU is soliciting project proposals. These projects, which complement the school curriculum, must provide a solid foundation for integrated curriculum. It is desirable to state clearly in their proposal art-based assignments that encourage students’ creativity and research quality. Teach Kali is also based on the objectives of the NEP 2020.
Topics
Your final proposal should include the following topics:
- Request letter to carry out the project.
- Your personal introduction.
- Full information on your school.
- Objectives of the project.
- Detail of action plans.
- The role of school colleagues in planning.
- Profile of Resource Persons Participating in the Plan.
- The desired outcomes that may come from the project.
- Expenditure – Details of expenses
Scope
The projects you want to implement should clearly include the following:
- Parents, students, teachers, those who are involved in the arts are required to participate in the project.
- There should be efforts to incorporate local resources or art forms into classroom teaching practices.
- The project should specialize in any art other than theater, music, folklore, visual arts, photography, film and literature to promote student-centered learning.
- The project should also help motivate the school community to raise social justice and environmental awareness.
- The project must be able to assert the enduring possibilities of art inclusive learning, in these later days of the coronal epidemic.
Funding Information
- Maximum Rs. 1,00,000 / – up to Rs.
- Applicants can consider a maximum of 5% honoraria in the entire budget.
- Cost-of-expense accounting includes respectability.
Duration: The expected duration of the project should be at least nine months and maximum of 2 months.
Eligibility Criteria
India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) implements Projects under its various programmes. The criteria for eligibility to apply under these programmes are as follows:
- Only Indian nationals can apply. This does not include PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) and OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) Card Holders.
- Applicants must have PAN card and one of the following for proof of identity and citizenship – Indian Passport or Aadhar Card or Voter’s ID in India
- Only individuals can apply. Organisations of any kind cannot apply
- If there are collaborators in the projects, they must also be Indian nationals
- Persons who have a past history of financial delinquency with IFA are not eligible
- Persons who have failed to deposit at IFA agreed deliverables from an earlier IFA grant are not eligible
- Persons who have previously received a letter from IFA disallowing them from applying in the future for any reason are not eligible
- More than one individual can apply if they have a joint account. If they do not, then only one among them should apply with the others as collaborators
