The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office has announced a Call for Bids for the International Programme Funds to provide funding for projects that support human rights and civil society; good governance and the rule of law; political, social and economic reforms across the region.
Organisations are encouraged to submit proposals for projects that promote UK values of democracy, human rights and the rule of law, and advance one or both of the following goals:
- To build and sustain people-to-people links between the UK and the region (target budget: £100,000);
- To support civil society and human rights organisations in the region to fulfil their roles in championing human rights and the rule of law (target budget: £500,000).
Criteria
- Organisations should submit proposals that promote UK values of democracy, human rights and the rule of law in Eastern Neighbourhood and Central Asia.

- Please note that bidding is competitive and they are not obliged to fund any or all proposals received.
- They will be in touch with successful organisations within one month of the deadline, and provide feedback to unsuccessful organisations within two months.
