The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) is inviting applications for the 2022 SAFE Virtual Practicum Program.
The purposes of SAFE VP are to maintain the Practicum so that it continues to function as operating systems are updated and technological advances are made, to maintain and update an interactive and accessible SAFE VP virtual practicum utilizing best practices from the SAFE Protocol and SAFE Training Standards, to provide TA to medical practitioners, law enforcement, prosecutors, crime lab personnel, victim advocates, and others involved in sexual assault response on using the Practicum, including TA regarding forensic exams of incarcerated patients, transgender patients, and other underserved populations, and to maintain the resource library for the Practicum and update as necessary.

Eligibility Criteria
- This is a noncompetitive funding opportunity for which the only eligible applicant is Ending Violence Against Women,International.
Ineligible Entities and Disqualifying Factors
- Applications that are submitted by ineligible entities will not be considered for funding. In addition, incomplete or lateapplications may not be funded, and failure to comply fully with all applicable unique entity identifier and SAM requirements(see Application and Submission section for more information on these requirements) will result in removal from consideration. An applicant that is found to have an unresolved audit finding (not closed or resolved within 12 months of the final audit report from the Inspector General of the Department of Justice) is not eligible for funding during the following two fiscal years.
- Note: Any nonprofit organization that holds money in offshore accounts for the purpose of avoiding paying the tax described in section 511(a) of the Internal Revenue Code is not eligible for a grant from this program.
