Leitrim County Council is currently inviting applications for the 2nd Round of the Covid 19 Emergency Fund from organisations that are directly involved in the Community Call response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and administered by the Local Authority.
The COVID-19 Emergency Fund is a grant programme to provide funding to groups that are directly involved in a Community response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Funding Information
It is intended that the majority of the funding allocated will be ring-fenced for grants of €1,000 or less.
Eligibility Criteria
- Groups that are directly involved in the Community Call response to the COVID-19 pandemic can apply.
- Commercial organisations and individuals are not eligible for funding.
- Applications can be made, (by groups directly involved in the Community Call response), to Leitrim County Council.
Selection Criteria
- Applications will be evaluated by Leitrim County Council to ensure eligibility. Priority will be given to Groups which deliver frontline services and are directly involved in the Community Call response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Applications may be judged having regard to how they help in the response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
- Projects will also be judged having regard to additional criteria which demonstrates the added value of the project in addressing the aims of the COVID-19 Community Response effort in County Leitrim.
