The Nike UK in cooperation with King Baudouin Foundation is seeking applications for its Black Community Commitment London program that will provide support to those organisations that are dedicated to creating lasting change for the Black community in London.
The NIKE, Inc. recently announced a significant commitment to support the Black community in the U.S. to organisations focused on social justice, education and economic empowerment to address systemic racism.
Funding Information
- Grants from £5,000 to £20,000 are available for non-profit organisations with plans to support projects for up to 12 months in any borough in London.
- A total budget of £80,000 is available.
Eligibility Criteria
The fund’s aim is to support community organisations in greater London who are dedicated to creating lasting change for the Black community. The initiative will invest in organisations focused on, but not limited to:
- Play and sport equity
- Education
- Economic empowerment
- Career development
- Access to mental health support
- Mentorship
- Violence prevention
