Deadline: 22-Feb-21
The Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) Foundation is now accepting proposals for their 2021 Education and Community Outreach Grants.
Education Outreach Grants must directly support education programs for public school children in grades K–12. These may be in-school- or out-of-school-time programs; they may serve students and/or teachers, educators and public school administrators, and maybe school or community-based. The key for eligibility here is the K-12 public school focus.
Community Outreach Grants meet their mission and vision of innovative programming, collaboration, and advocacy for lifelong learning. Community Outreach Grants are not required to solely support K-12 public education. Early Childhood, adult learning, basic needs initiatives or community events are a few areas that fall under this category.
Focus Areas
With all Outreach Grants, their goal is to support programs, projects, or organizations working in one or more of their LANL Foundation Strategic Focus Areas:
- Community Capacity Building;
- College, Career & Community Pathways;
- Growing and Supporting Teachers & Educational Leaders;
- Social-Emotional & Neuro sequential Learning;
- STEAM.
Criteria
- The LANL Foundation’s Outreach Grants are open to school districts, nonprofit New Mexico educational institutions, IRS-qualified 501(c)(3) organizations, government agencies, and Pueblo/Tribal communities serving Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Sandoval, Santa Fe, and Taos counties.
- NOTE: There is one application, and your eligibility for consideration under Education or Community Outreach will be determined by your age group(s) served.
