The Community Priorities Grants Program is the Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta’s largest granting program. Each year, this fund awards over $400,000 to qualified donees in Southwestern Alberta.
The Community Foundation does not provide Community Priorities Grants to organizations that were approved for grant funding in the previous year. This does not apply to school districts, municipalities, or charities applying in partnership with non-registered groups.
Funding Information
- The Community Priorities Fund will not consider requests for funding over $15,000.
What you need to know to apply
- Prior to filling out your application, please read through our Grant Application Guidelines to see if your project is eligible for funding. Your organization must be a CRA-recognized qualified donee or apply in partnership with a qualified donee to be eligible.

All organizations applying for a grant must identify which one of the six Vital Signs Impact Areas their project best addresses:
