The N.C.B. Foundation is offering grants through its Level Up Grant Programme to provide short-term digital courses to unemployed Jamaicans who have not had the benefit of tertiary-level studies.
These courses are designed to equip them with skills that puts them in a position to gain employment and/or start their own online ventures.
To date, NCB has invested over $45M in the digital upskilling of over 6,000 Jamaicans who ordinarily would not have access to this form of training and further contribute to Jamaica’s human capital in digital careers. This year, they are continuing the commitment to engage 3,000 future digital entrepreneurs through training partners Internet Income Jamaica and iCreate Institute.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a Level Up Grant, applicants must:
- Submit an online application in full by the deadline.
- Be a Jamaican citizen over 18 years old who is either unemployed or underemployed.
- Not have already attained an undergraduate or graduate degree.
- Have demonstrated financial need (household income).
- Demonstrate commitment to personal development, community and nation-building.
