Are you a small charity or community group in Barking and Dagenham that might like to test out a new idea, grow an existing one, or perhaps you need just a bit more support to carry on the fantastic work you’ve started? Well, this might be the right thing for you!
This is a one-off pot of funding aimed at supporting smaller organisations in Barking and Dagenham. The Barking and Dagenham Lottery is a weekly fundraising initiative dedicated to supporting charitable endeavours within the Barking and Dagenham community. Every week, proceeds from ticket sales contribute to various causes that directly benefit the borough and its residents, including the Barking and Dagenham Community Fund.

Funding Information
- Size of grants available: up to £1,500 is available for a community group or partnership.
Eligibility Criteria
- Small Community groups, organisations, and partnerships in Barking and Dagenham, with a turnover of less than £40,000 a year.
- Collaboration and partnership: if you do not think your organisation can apply on its own, they welcome collaborations and speaking with the BD Collective and its networks to co-develop proposals with other organisations. They are happy to discuss your thoughts to try to match you with potential partners.
- Following your application, you will then be invited to an interview to discuss your idea and next steps.
