Maaya Fund has announced the 8th call for proposals for the Artistic Creation Assistance Fund intended for artists and cultural actors in Mali.

The Artistic Creation Assistance Fund is a product of the Maaya Fund in social character intended for artists and cultural actors in Mali. This fund is a support for artistic creation and support for cultural initiatives, through the granting of a loan repayable over a period of nine (09) months.

Objectives

The Creation Assistance Fund aims to help artists and cultural actors to artistic creation and to support cultural initiatives through the granting a repayable loan:

Help artists and cultural actors in artistic creation;
Improve their working conditions by providing them with a support funds, credit;
Encourage creativity through innovative projects.

Expected Results

The working conditions of artists / cultural actors are improved;
Artistic and cultural creation is stimulated through credits granted;
Creativity is encouraged through innovative projects.

Funding Information

Creation assistance|Repayable loan: Maximum amount 3,000,000 FCFA.

Evaluation Criteria

An autonomous and independent award committee will evaluate the projects while the monitoring and evaluation committee will assess the morality of applicants and guarantees. The results will be announced at the latest September 10, 2020.

Eligibility Criteria

Be an artist, cultural actor, artistic structure or association and cultural with at least three years of experience and residing in Mali;
Have a room or be a member of an artistic structure or association and cultural;
Have legal status;
Have a project that has a social or environmental impact;
Have a personal contribution (15%) of the total amount of his project;
Possess a guarantee (works or equivalent in kind) equivalent to 50% of the amount of the project (fill in the guarantee form);
Have a moral guarantee (fill in the sponsorship certificate);
Have a viable project;
Be of good character;
Commit in writing to repay the loan over a period of nine (09)month.
