The Media in Cooperation and Transition (MiCT) invites Iraqi women journalists to apply for a 3-month Arabic journalism training program focusing on empowering women. You must be female-identifying, Iraqi and Arabic speaking to apply.
If selected, each journalist will be awarded a #grant of 2,000 EUR to produce their pitch into a journalistic piece. This is a competitive program and MiCT will choose the top eight most compelling applications to be accepted.
Eight Iraqi female journalists will have the opportunity to be part of a program that mentors and trains female journalists with small grants to produce newspaper articles that support and empower women in Iraq.
Media Across Collaboration and Transformation is a non-profit organization that provides specialized media services in complex contexts with passion, accuracy and speed. Through their collaborative work with their partners, they promote inclusive and equitable dialogue.
Eligibility Criteria
- Iraqi women journalists who are mid-career and hope to be leaders in their field.
