Deadline: 15-Nov-21
The Missoula Community Foundation (MCF) is seeking applications for its Missoula Forever Fund Small Grants Program to participate in diversity, equity, and inclusion training for their staff and board.
This year’s grants will award applicants through anti-racism, Justice, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training. We have coordinated three different training opportunities for nonprofits to choose from. Applicants must be working to benefit youth or provide social services in Missoula County.
The grant recipients will be provided training from their chosen consulting group. Missoula Community Foundation will facilitate payment for these trainings.
Eligibility Criteria
- Have 501(c)3 tax-exempt status. Fiscally sponsored organizations are welcome to apply.
- Organization Focus: Youth and/or Social Services
- Maintain an office within Missoula County. Preference will be given to organizations that provide a majority of services to people within Missoula County.
- Adopted or are willing to adopt LGBTQ-inclusive nondiscrimination policies in employment, volunteer, and board recruitment and in providing services (sample policies available upon request).
Criteria
They understand that nonprofits have different needs and capacities to take on a training program like this. Each opportunity offers something slightly different. Please review the different training options below and consider which would best suit your organization and its readiness to participate. Things to consider:
- your organization size
- the time commitment for the training
- organizational involvement (employee/board/staff)
- has your organization started internal work in this area?
