Deadline: 31-Aug-22
The Town of Shelburne is now inviting applications for its Municipal Grant Funding.
They value the contributions that groups, agencies and volunteers make to improve the community. To show their appreciation, they give out municipal grants each year that help support the efforts of the community organizations.
Types of Grants
They award the following different types of grants.
- Corporate Grants: Corporate grants are for operational funding and assist with administrative costs and program-related expenses.
- In-kind Contributions: In-kind contribution grants refer to providing the use of municipal facilities, properties or resources to applicants, free of charge or at a discounted rate. This is not a monetary grant.
- Special Event Grants: Special event grants are for one-time or first-time events that contribute to the cultural, social or recreational significance of the community. More than one community organization must participate in the event to qualify for the grant.
- Community Event Grants: Community events are recurring events that council has determined contribute to the culture of the community. In order for an event to qualify it must be open to all members of the public.
- Sponsorship Grants: Sponsorship grants are financial requests from an external organization, enterprise or association. The Town will contribute money, goods or services to a project, program or special event. The group that receives the sponsorship must give the Town recognition for their support and contributions.
