The National Voluntary Youth Work Organisations Support Fund is now open for applications.
The purpose of this Scottish Government fund is to support workforce development within the voluntary youth work sector in order that the sector can continuously improve and offer high quality youth opportunities that meet the needs of all young people in Scotland.
Outcomes
The fund supports workforce development. To be eligible, proposed activity must support one or more of the following workforce development outcomes:
- Improved recruitment/engagement and support of volunteers
- Increased access to essential workforce development opportunities for paid staff and/or volunteers
- Increased access to leadership development opportunities for senior managers and/or senior volunteers
- Enhanced capacity of youth work organisations, staff and volunteers to reach and support young people with protected characteristics
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply to the fund your organisation must be:
- A national voluntary sector youth work organisation Or
- A specialist equalities focused voluntary youth work organisation (or both)
