Applications are now open for the Canon Oceania Grants in New Zealand to recognize the importance of supporting their local communities and inspire change for future generations.
Grant Categories
- Community Grant: A project that has a positive impact on communities, encompassing cultural, societal, environmental and sustainability causes.
- Environmental Grant: An environmental project with significance to New Zealand.
- Educational Grant: A project being run by a primary, secondary or tertiary school/educational institution.
Funding Information
- Community Grant: $5,000; $2,500 cash and $2,500 product
- Educational Grant: $5,000; $2,500 cash and $2,500 product)
- Environmental Grant: $5,000; $2,500 cash and $2,500 product)
Eligibility Criteria
Canon New Zealand will consider your application if you are an eligible organisation and can demonstrate that the prize (50% in retail value and 50% cash) will be used to facilitate an educational, community or environmental project that will benefit the New Zealand community.
Ineligible
The Canon Oceania Grants Program does not support: Political organisations, Religious organisations, Sport organisations, Requests from individuals who are not sole traders, Fundraising dinners or events, Capital building, endowment, or debt reduction drives & Requests from foreign countries.
Terms and Conditions
- By entering into this application process, the Applicant agrees to these terms. Information and instructions explaining how to participate is part of these terms.
- Applicants must be an individual New Zealand resident, entering on behalf of a group, or a New Zealand legal entity (Applicant).
- There are a total of three grants available under the Canon Oceania Grants, New Zealand Programme made up of one Grant awarded in each of the following categories: an Educational Grant, a Community Grant and an Environmental Grant (each a Category).
- Canon will award $2,500 cash and up to $2,500 worth of Canon Product (Grant) to the successful Applicant (Grant Recipient) in each Grant category based on these Terms and the application form.
- “Canon Product” means Canon branded digital cameras, digital video cameras, inkjet and photo printers, binoculars, flatbed scanners, photographic lenses and small-office multifunctional devices. The value of Canon Products is determined by Canon’s recommended resale price.
