- Celebrating the heritage and cultural diversity of their communities.
- Building capacity and empowerment in the community.
- Promoting better health and well-being in the community.
- Promoting economic well-being in the community and local employment.
- Promoting youth leadership and participation in employment, education training and business.
- Ensuring seniors in their area have access to quality facilities, resources and activities.
- Creating opportunities for interaction between young and old.
