The U.S. Mission in Iraq announces an open competition for eligible organizations to submit proposals to develop and implement the Promoting American Tech in Iraq to support higher education and work force development in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region (IKR).
The Promoting American Tech in Iraq program will work to equip the IKR’s three public technical universities in Sulaymaniyah, Duhok, and Erbil, with state-of-the-art Cisco telecommunications equipment to create three fully functional teaching and research labs in each university.
In coordination with Cisco, the Recipient will purchase all necessary equipment for the labs, complete the installation, and train the staff on CCNA, CyberOps and CCNP. The labs should be equipped and made functional as quickly as possible. U.S. Consulate General representatives will closely monitor the planning and execution of the program.
