Nonprofit Sustainability Grants has been announced which is administered by the Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge on behalf of the City of Staunton and Augusta County.
The City of Staunton and Augusta County recognize the impact the pandemic has had on nonprofit organizations that serve the members of their communities.
Funding Information
City of Staunton Nonprofit Sustainability Fund
- $300,000;
- Organizations with operational budgets (OBs) over $500,000 are eligible for up to $20,000;
- Organizations with OBs between $100,000 and $499,999 are eligible for up to $15,000;
- Organizations with OBs less than $100,000 are eligible for up to $10,000.
Augusta County Nonprofit Sustainability Fund
- $100,000;
- Organizations with OBs over $500,000 are eligible for up to $20,000;
- Organizations with OBs between $100,000 and $499,999 are eligible for up to $10,000;
- Organizations with OBs less than $100,000 are eligible for up to $ 5000.
Eligibility Criteria
Who is eligible to receive a grant?
Tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization, including those under the fiscal sponsorship of a 501(c)(3) organization, that meet each of the following conditions:
- Nonprofit organizations located in the City of Staunton or Augusta County, as well as nonprofit organizations located elsewhere but serving the residents of the City and/or the County. Priority will be given to nonprofit organizations physically located within the County or City limits. Organizations located elsewhere will be considered to the extent that funds are available.
- Nonprofit organizations that have suffered a service interruption due to COVID-19.
