Applicants are now invited to submit applications for the Norman Archibald Charitable Foundation’s 2020 Grant Program.
The Norman Archibald Charitable Foundation’s mission is to fund capital and equipment projects for organizations working to improve the quality of life and benefit residents in NW Washington. This foundation has transitioned to a donor-advised fund at Seattle Foundation and under their grant application system.
If you are in art or youth arts-related organization in King and Pierce counties, please contact ArtsFund, as Norman Archibald Charitable Foundation provided support for their grantmaking efforts in these areas.
Funding Information
- Grant amounts are usually $3,000-$7,000.
Funding Types
- They fund capital campaigns with a minimum of 70% raised and equipment projects or purchases that provide for long term sustainability for the organization. The foundation does not fund program support. If you are an arts or youth-related arts organization in King or Pierce County, please reach out to ArtsFund as the foundation provides support for their grantmaking efforts to serve these geographic areas. Unfortunately, they do not provide grants to school foundations.
- Norman Archibald Charitable Foundation also provides funding opportunities to nonprofit organizations through a Core Support Grant for general operating support. These grants are normally funded annually over an extended period of time. Changes to these organizations are infrequent.
