The NSW Sexual Violence Project Fund, administered by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ), is a grants program that will fund a range of one-off and time-limited sexual violence early intervention and response projects that address and respond to sexual violence.
Focus Areas
The fund is expected to be released in late February 2023 and will provide almost $10 million in grants to support projects for up to two years focusing on high priority groups and settings, including:
- Women and children at risk of or experiencing sexual violence;
- First Nations people;
- Culturally and linguistically diverse communities;
- Rural and remote communities;
- LGBTIQ+ people;
- Older women;
- Children and young people (in particular, those who have experienced trauma, sexual and domestic violence or who are in or leaving out-of-home care);
- People with disability.
Eligibility Criteria
- DCJ invites non-government organisations.
Important
- Registration of Interest is a consultation stage only and does not guarantee funding;
- DCJ is not accepting project proposals at this stage;
- All Registration of Interest forms are confidential and will not be published;
- The Sexual Violence Project Fund grant guidelines are expected to be released at the end of February 2023, when organisations will be invited to submit their project proposals and apply for funding.
