Nuffic’s Orange Knowledge Program has launched a call for grant applications for Tunisia – Agricultural Growth.
Objectives
Proposals should specifically focus on the following objective:
- Strengthening teacher training programs to improve the employability of TVET graduates in the agricultural sector in Tunisia.
- Proposals should also take into account the parameters that apply to all other OKP projects such as gender and inclusion issues.
- Proposals must also:
- Use digital methodologies for interactive teaching and learning mixed and remote
- Align and be complementary with the employability program in agriculture ‘TRACE’ (Tunisian Rural and Agricultural Chains of Employment) from the Embassy of Kingdom of the Netherlands and its other agricultural programs;
- Align with OKP projects currently underway in Tunisia;
- Align with the interventions of other technical and financial partners in the sector, such as those of Swisscontact, GIZ and the Embassy of the United States

Funding Information
- Maximum funding per project collaboration (excluding co-funding) EUR 125,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Grant applicants
- Dutch institutions offering professional and academic education secondary and higher or other types of organizations that offer training courses that also contribute to the reinforcement of priority themes in the countries listed countries are eligible for group training grants OKP. These institutions must provide training themselves; organizations intermediaries are not eligible. Institutions must have the capacity sufficient financial and organizational resources to conduct training. They can prove by means of a CECO which is deemed positive by Nuffic. Organizations must also prove their experience in providing the desired training.
- Target group for group training
- To be eligible for a grant for OKP group training, a request must relate to the conduct of training for candidates who meet the criteria following:
- Applicants work for one of the following types of national organizations and / or local: ministries, institutions for secondary vocational or academic education or higher, universities, private sector, commissions or NGOs. Applicants cannot work for:
- a bilateral or multilateral organization;
- a non-governmental organization that operates internationally and whose the activity focuses on the representation of social interests, such as cooperation in development, protection of nature and the environment, health or rights of man.
- Applicants must have the nationality of or reside and work in one of the OKP countries including grant requests for the conduct of the type of group training concerned can be granted. Applicants must be able to apply knowledge and acquired skills.
- Applicants work for one of the following types of national organizations and / or local: ministries, institutions for secondary vocational or academic education or higher, universities, private sector, commissions or NGOs. Applicants cannot work for:

Required Documents
To be complete, an application must include the following documents. The requests incomplete will be rejected.
- Joint proposal form TMT + Orange Knowledge Program
- Budget form TMT + Orange Knowledge Program
- CECO TMT form + Orange Knowledge Program
- CV of all proposed human resources (no prescribed format)
Please Note: that it is not necessary to request a CECO audit at the same time as long as a request for TMT + training. A CECO can be requested from any moment. We recommend that you request a check from the CECO before submit a joint proposal, to ensure that your CECO is not a reason of refusal
Assessment Criteria
- The evaluation of the joint proposals will be carried out by Nuffic in consultation with the Dutch embassies and consulates.
