OCLC/ALISE: Call for Proposals for the 2017 Science Research Grant Program

National Endowment for the Arts: Seeking Applications for Translation Projects

The Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) in collaboration with the Association for Library and Information Science Education (ALISE), is currently inviting research proposals for its Science Research Grant Program.

In recognition of the importance of research to the advancement of librarianship and information science, OCLC and ALISE promote independent research that helps integrate new technologies that offer innovative approaches and contributes to a better understanding of the information environment and user expectations and behaviors.

Focus Areas

Research related (but not limited) to the following areas is encouraged:

Funding Information

The LISRGP provides grant awards of up to $25,000 for a one-year research project.

Project Duration

LISRGP-supported projects will be conducted within one year from the date of the award in January 2017.
