Deadline: 14-Mar-22
Civil society and grassroots groups from Armenia are invited to apply for Prague Civil Society Centre’s Armenian Civic Project Program- a funding and mentoring opportunity.
They want to help emerging civil society groups in Armenia grow and strengthen their networks of changemakers across the country. With their support, civic activists can run campaigns, launch communications tools, encourage active citizen participation, boost community and youth engagement, or raise awareness of human rights and related issues.
Which projects are most likely to be supported?
- They’re open to any good idea, but they’ll give special consideration to projects aiming to build new networks and audiences, increase public engagement, create new spaces and run innovative campaigns, or introduce new communications tools.
- They especially encourage submissions of projects with a geographic inclusion focus involving regional and border communities.
- Applicant organisations and individuals should adhere to an ethos of non-violence and follow ethical standards in all areas of their work.
Added bonus: mentorship opportunity
- The selected applicants will have an opportunity to receive targeted project-based guidance and mentorship from the Centre’s pool of mentors in the following areas:
- Strategic planning and impact assessment
- Advocacy and campaigning
- Strategic communication
- Community organising and base building
- Product management
Funding Information
- The maximum funding available is EUR 10,000. In the first stage, applicants will submit project ideas.

- The duration of the projects can be from 6 to 12 months. Selected projects can start from June 2022.
Selection Procedure
- Applications will be selected through a two-stage process. After submitting your project ideas, if selected, you will be invited to work with the Centre’s mentors to develop and submit a full proposal.
- Your proposal will be evaluated about the overall mission and tasks of the Centre, to the relevance and potential of the project idea, the expected and measurable impact of the project, the realistic project design, and your organization’s track record.
- Applications will be assessed by a selection committee composed of the Centre’s staff, its Board, and external experts.
- The Centre may contact you throughout the application process with questions and/or requests for additional information.
- Selected applicants will be informed of the decision by the end of March.
