The Women’s Fund in Georgia renews the Open Door Grant Program, which welcomes innovative initiatives by women.
Funding Information
- The amount of the grant amount is 5000 dollars.
- Duration: 6 Month
Types of Projects
- The Women’s Fund will not finance the following types of projects :
- Projects of an economic nature
- Projects oriented to the provision of services ( unless it concerns a marginalized group that suffers from several forms of discrimination )
- If the budget of the organization / group is equal to or larger than the budget of the Women’s Foundation
- If the project is anti- feminist , racist , homophobic
Eligibility Criteria
- Registered and unregistered groups whose main direction is the protection of women’s and girls’ rights and issues related to them can participate in the competition. Also, the fund will support individual or group initiatives of female researchers or artists. The geographical focus of the grant program is the capital and regions of Georgia.
- Priority will be given to:
- Groups working in the region
- Start-up groups
- The main project evaluation criteria are:
- Feminist vision
- Social change orientation (Women’s Fund will support projects focused on social change)
- Innovativeness
