Deadline: 23-Jun-25
A new call for proposals has been launched to support gender-responsive socio-economic development by increasing women’s access to employment in the cultural and creative industries. This initiative focuses on building stronger connections between universities and the private sector in Palestine, particularly in the fields of audiovisual, media, and design.
The overarching aim of the program is to enhance gender equality in the workforce. The specific focus is on improving opportunities for women graduates to enter the job market, while also boosting female entrepreneurship in key creative sectors. Strengthening partnerships between employers and women graduates is a top priority, along with equipping young women with market-relevant skills and facilitating job placements and entrepreneurial support.
This funding opportunity offers a total allocation of EUR 1,500,000, divided into three separate lots of EUR 500,000 each. Applicants may apply for grants ranging from a minimum of EUR 450,000 to a maximum of EUR 500,000, with projects to be implemented over a period not exceeding 24 months.
Eligible lead applicants must be nonprofit organizations legally established in an EU member state or other eligible countries listed under applicable development cooperation regulations. They must be directly responsible for the design and implementation of the proposed project and be registered—or in the process of being registered—to operate in Palestine.
The call also encourages collaboration with co-applicants. Co-applicants must be for-profit organizations authorized to work in Palestine, and a proposal may include up to three co-applicants. Together, the lead applicant and co-applicants will form a consortium to carry out the action.
This is a strategic opportunity for nonprofit and private sector actors to join forces in transforming the cultural and creative industries into more inclusive, dynamic spaces for women’s economic participation and leadership.
