Funding priorities
They welcome grant applications that align to the following priorities:
- They enable people to celebrate, participate in and contribute to their local community.
- They have a thriving, vibrant and safe town centre.
- They provide for local cultural and arts experiences in their area.
- Their parks, sports and recreation facilities are well used.
- They support communities to achieve their goals and aspirations.
- They increase the number of visitors who contribute to the local economy.
- They protect and improve the environment around the harbour, and their streams are enjoyed by increasing numbers of people.
- They focus on reducing, reusing and recycling.
- They celebrate and highlight their history and heritage.
Funding Information
Amount: $300 – $2000
Outcomes
Their grants programme will support the following outcomes:
- A vibrant and prosperous metropolitan centre.
- Helping people lead active, healthy and connected lives.
- A strong local economy.
- Their area is well-connected and easy to move around.
- They are treasured for their environment and heritage.
Eligibility Criteria
- community organisations with a formal legal structure
- groups or individuals with no formal legal structure can apply for up to $1,000 (Kaipatiki Local Board will not fund individuals)
- applicants seeking funding over $1,000 will need to nominate an umbrella organisation or
- receive funding retrospectively
