Applications are now open for the Lancaster County Community Foundation’s (LCCF) Passion Grants Program to support programming in a broad range of focus areas including: human services, the environment, restoring historical structures, clean water, human rights/inclusion, the arts, preschool child development, and projects in Eastern Lancaster County.

- Ada F. Harr Fund: $32,300 available, grant range $10,000 – $32,300
- Katherine K. Gaeth Fund: $24,200 available, grant range $10,000 – $24,200

- Florence Starr Taylor Fund for the Visual Arts, Lancaster Arts and Culture Fund, & Eloise Award Fund: $15,000 available, grant range $7,500 – $15,000
- Sam and Verda Taylor Fund for the Performing Arts: $28,600 available, grant range $10,000 – $28,600

Eligibility Criteria
- Applications must come from current 501(c)(3) community benefit organizations (CBOs) registered with (or exempt from) the PA Bureau of Charitable Organizations, have an audit or financial review (less than 12 months old), a current Form 990 and provide a Non-Discrimination Policy meeting all federal requirements as it applies to your type of organization. Projects must benefit residents of Lancaster County. CBOs may not receive grants from the same Passion Grant for more than 3 consecutive years

Eligibility for funding is determined based on due diligence and assessment of the following:
- Provide your organizational Non-Discrimination Policy meeting all federal requirements as it applies to your type of organization
- Align with the Community Foundation’s Anti-Hate policy
- Serve Lancaster County residents without discrimination
- Current 501(c)(3) designation from the IRS
- Registered with the Pennsylvania Bureau of Charitable Organizations unless otherwise exempt per the Institutions of Purely Public Charity Act
- Complete IRS Form 990 Annually
- Annual Audit or a financial review by an independent CPA within the last 12 months
- In good standing with all existing awards and contracts with the Lancaster County Community Foundation
Ineligible
- Creation of a new organization
- Schools
- Capital campaigns/capital costs (equipment, building costs, maintenance)
- Political campaigns
- Expenses incurred before the grant is awarded
- Cemetery associations
- Religious causes that further a specific belief/agenda
