The People’s Health Trust is seeking applications for its Active Communities Funding Programme for community groups and not-for-profit organisations to make their communities even better places to live.
Funding Information
- Active Communities is a funding programme for community groups and not-for-profit organisations, with an income of less than £350,000 a year or an average of £350,000 over two years.
- It’s for projects seeking investment of between £5,000 and £40,000 for projects lasting up to two years. They’re looking for small and local projects, genuinely designed and run by local people. By small, they mean just a small group of people on an estate, in a few streets or villages.
Eligibility Criteria
- They are currently open in Health Lottery East Midlands. They are open in the following areas:
- Derbyshire: Bolsover, Erewash, and North East Derbyshire
- Leicestershire: Charnwood and North West Leicestershire
- Lincolnshire: East Lindsey
- Northamptonshire: Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, and the former East Northamptonshire council area
- Nottinghamshire: Ashfield, Broxtowe, Mansfield, and Newark & Sherwood
- Incorporated organisations:
- A charity registered in England, Scotland or Wales
- Charitable incorporated organisation
- A company limited by guarantee
- A Community Interest Company limited by guarantee (not shares)
- Charitable Community Benefit Societies
- Community Benefit Societies with a charitable asset lock and clearly defined members
- Unincorporated organisation/Constituted Community organsiations:
- You must be a constituted group or voluntary organisation or association with a social / charitable purpose and at least three unrelated people aged over 18 on the management committee and have been running for at least three months.
