Deadline: 25-Feb-22
The Centers for Disease Control – CGH is currently accepting proposals to Strengthening Care and Support Services for Highly Vulnerable Populations, Orphans and Vulnerable Children and their Families, plus HIV Prevention for Youth in the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
This NOFO will support implementation and expansion of comprehensive HIV prevention, care, and treatment programs for highly vulnerable populations in prioritized health districts with a high HIV burden, prevalence, and incidence in Côte d’Ivoire. This includes HIV sexual prevention services to priority and general populations (PP, GP); comprehensive HIV services for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) and their families; HIV services for adolescent girls and young women (AGYW); prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) services for pregnant and breastfeeding women (PBFW) and HIV-exposed infants (HEI); efficient and innovative strategies for HIV testing (HTS) with linkage to treatment; strengthening health information systems; and strengthening health district and community systems for sustainability.
The purpose of this NOFO is to build upon CDC’s previous HIV prevention, community care and treatment and OVC programs for Community Based Organizations (CBOs). It will support the goal of the increased knowledge of HIV status, ART coverage, retention and VL suppression in order to contribute to decrease incidence and reduce HIV associated morbidity and mortality in Cote d’Ivoire.
